Abstract:
In this paper we present our coordination experience organizing the first year of the new official undergraduate degree in Natural Environmental Engineering from the School of Forestry and Environmental Engineering, Technical University of Madrid (UPM). The main goal of these experiences, which have financial support from the University (Innovation Projects), is to carry out a complete analysis of the academic features that will be necessary to organize the next course, in which the degree begins. The project integrates most of the trainers of the subjects, promoting the coordination between them and generalizing methodologies of educational innovation and adaptation to the European Higher Education Area (EHEA). Student’s guides showing homogenous criteria for application in the next years are being elaborated. The number of lecturers, subjects and departments involved in the project is very important and this fact will allow the results to have a significant meaning. Herein we present the organization process of the project and the most important results obtained in the first semester of this academic course.
