Abstract:
Changes in the environment of higher education in Poland require new ways of university management. More and more attention take notice to the evaluation of institutions from the perspective of their stakeholders and to use methods that allow for the improvement of the functioning of the college. This article presents a multidimensional evaluation of university. The proposed model would allow for the evaluation of university from the different perspective based on a number of criteria, which may be important for evaluators. In particular taken into account the attractiveness of the faculty from the perspective of staff and students and candidates. The paper presents a procedure for the use of the model in higher education. The strengths and weaknesses of presented model are also shawn. The article presents also a synthetic characteristics of higher education in Poland, where also highlights the need for changes in the way of universities management.
