Abstract:
Since 2008, social services in the Czech Republic have been governed by new legislation. The legislation includes the highly topical quality standards. All services more or less comply with these standards. The social education is also a part of the standards. A part of these standards is also satisfaction of the users of these services. The objective of this paper is to analyse a specific service – counselling centre for alcohol and other addictions – P-Centre in Olomouc in the Czech Republic. The objective of the paper is to describe client satisfaction in specific areas (support, availability, social education, therapeutic work, methods, etc.) For the purposes of the survey we used a quantitative approach, data collection was carried out by means of a questionnaire survey, specifically a semi-structured questionnaire. The sample includes 40 respondents from the total number of 50 clients, with whom the counselling centre currently maintains regular structured cooperation. The quality of the provided social services and quality assessment is currently a very topical issue in the Czech Republic. A secondary objective is to present the information so that it can serve as inspiration for other services addressing the same target group. Keywords:
