Abstract:
Children with special needs start school with different levels of skills. Thus, children with different types of disability have different probabilities of educational success right from the start of their school career (compulsory education/school attendance).

Children develop within the changing social world. In interaction with others they acquire new ways of responding to people and things around them. But even as they practice their new skills, their environment changes, so they still have to learn new types of behaviour.

In special education in the Czech Republic there were many changes in the last fifteen years (legislative, technological, methodical, etc). Main focus is on the question whether the educability of children can grow up in the context of new technologies and methods.

The aim of this paper is to describe the main principle of research we are conducting. We are bringing the specific topic: The educability of children with special needs and it´s dynamics.
