Abstract:
Job satisfaction is one of the preconditions for achieving organisation's goals. According to studies, happy employees show high workplace productivity, illnesses occur less frequently, and staff gives positive contribution to an organisation on a long-term basis, meanwhile, dissatisfied employees do not always provide a constructive feedback to their management and co-workers, they cause conflicts or quit job without giving explanations for that. This is often related to inability of fitting into work environment, performing tasks, and respecting ethical principles.

The aim of this study is to explore job satisfaction, attitude towards ethical principles and correlation thereof. The research methods are as follows:
1) The analysis of scientific literature.
2) The survey by P.Spector to determine job satisfaction.
3) The Likert Scale to determine attitude towards ethical principles.
4) Mathematically statistical data processing with IBM SPSS Analytics.

Altogether 108 respondents took part in this study.

The theoretical part of this study shows the impact of two types of factors on job satisfaction, i.e., the ones depending on an individual and employer. Leaders who collaborate with colleagues show the highest job satisfaction rate, and they engage in tasks, demonstrate leadership and are ready to help anytime. High and fair performance evaluation, organisational identification and engagement promote job satisfaction. Employee attitude towards ethical principles and values are driven by former experience, models of behaviour, personality type and level of intelligence.

The outcomes of this practical research show only half of employees satisfied with job, furthermore, employees with shorter length of service show higher job satisfaction compared with long-term employees. The majority of employees consider ethical principles and organisation values important. There are statistically significant differences between attitudes towards ethical principles by employees with longer length of service and shorter ones. And, there is statistically significant correlation between employee attitudes towards ethical principles and job satisfaction.
