Abstract:

Elaboration of subject schedule, both for its theoretical and practical side, is a recurring and difficult task made every year by the teacher according to the particular calendar of that year. Except for specific circumstances of the academic year, it is a repetitive administrative task. Information of contents and the time which each professor needs in order to develop them can be easily stored for several years. Taking into account all of this information, the average time that each professor needed and the particularities of the calendar year, we have developed a web application that provides us a reliable schedule in an automatic way. This estimated schedule may be modified by each professor during the academic year, and these modifications will give the application some positive feedback for a more reliable scheduling for next years. If necessary, we may take into account the information of all the professors involved in the subject, or in other case, filter the information of one of them. It is also possible to distinguish between theoretical sessions, practices, solving problems, seminars, group tutorials with its particularities.
