Abstract:

In this work, we show a web-based application that uses a web browser as a client and allows to manage and record all the necessary qualifications to evaluate any subject. All desired concepts to be evaluated can be included. Moreover, we can impose over them the weights and limits we consider.

In the European Higher Education Area (EHEA from now on), new degree courses generally assume a greater daily monitoring of individual work of each student. A web application that adapts and controls any evaluation system without limits is a very useful tool. Attendance to class, homework, practical sessions, academically guided activities, participation in class, class exercises, tests, or any other item may be recorded and evaluated in our web application to get a final qualification. This application can be controlled from any mobile device, tablet or mobile phone at classroom, providing teachers with a comfortable and versatile tool to manage control of all students, and automatically get a full evaluation. We can customize the assessment criteria of each item, save the qualifications of passed concepts for new occasions, use weighted averages and special ratings, and consider specific conditions for each item.
