The objective is to study the impact of using industrial engineering challenges and active learning in one curricula course with two cohorts at a Mexican University. The sample is about 400 IE students (200 in august 2017 and 200 during august 2018), using a survey, & evaluating the challenges and their life and career planning. The methodology has three phases: Design of the IE Challenges using active learning and teamwork, Implementation of the challenges with two generations, and the evaluation phase ( using surveys and their LCP) . The methodology involves : ex alumni to share their experience, tutoring sessions, and companies experience.
