Abstract:
The subject “Development of Wired and Programmed Automatisms” is part of the program in an own tittle leadered by Miguel Hernandez University of Elche (Spain). The name of the own tittle Master degree is “Master in Automation and Remote Control for Management in Irrigation Systems”. Teachers of this Master degree come from six Spanish Universities, two Research Centres and an enterprise. This own tittle consist of 60 obligatory ECTS credits. It is a blended learning Master. Subjects of the Master are varied and follow a defined subject matter. The developed subject in this communication studies in depth the wired and programmed automation systems. These automation systems are based in Electronics and irrigation scheduling. The conditioned signals adquired by sensors are used for executing orders in an irrigation system. These orders are executed by means of actuators. All the devices are connected with data acquisition and control systems. This communication pursues two objectives. Firstly a main description of the subject and its situation in the curriculum of the Master degree are presented. The second objective will describe the experience and some results obtained in this subject during the periods 2009-2010 and 2011-2012.Keywords:
Wired automatisms, programmed automatisms, irrigation scheduling, irrigation systems, water and energy management.
