Abstract:
In the present study, the use of a flipped classroom model in the course basic motoric skills at the university of teacher training for potential teachers in primary education is shown. For this course an e-learning course in a learning management system is developed. With the help of this course, the students have to learn the theoretical content before each practical unit and have to pass a theoretical examination (assessment). In the following practical unit at the university, students are supposed to apply the theoretical knowledge in practice. The teacher supports the students as a mentor and gives immediate feedback to the students.

The developed e-learning course and the newly implemented didactic model will be evaluated and modified using a quantitative research approach. The guiding questions for this research will be: How can preservice teacher be prepared for the corse basic motoric skills at the university using the Flipped Classroom Model? 435 students participated in the study. The satisfaction of the students with the use of this new didactic model is examined. The satisfaction about the usability of the e-learning course shows the agreement about the support of the offered theoretical content with regard to the support of the professionalization of the potential teachers in the primary level.
