Abstract:
An Invitation to join with the SUNY COIL Center in developing International Course Collaborations

In this follow-up session, we request the active participation of our audience in proposing collaborative online international courses and programs in the arts and humanities. We invite non-US universities to present candidate courses which they feel would benefit from the type of international collaboration that was discussed in Session 1. We will circulate a brief course summary form to be filled in during Session 1 and will ask those who participate to briefly describe their proposed courses so that we can discuss them with the group and consider ways to implement them during Session 2. This process will hopefully lead to the development of actual course collaborations, but it will also serve as a real-world exercise in analyzing and evolving such educational partnerships.
