Abstract:
Introduction:
The Mexican agri-food sector is key to the country's economy and food security, but it faces a crisis of demographic aging and technological lag. 72.8% of producers are over 45 years old, which highlights the lack of generational replacement and the migration of youth to urban areas due to a lack of opportunities and digital connectivity.

Method:
An innovative educational model is proposed based on agile and accreditable micro-credentials, structured in a 120-hour diploma course divided into four modules: Precision Agriculture (AgriTech), Smart Logistics, Financial Models, and Market Strategies. This approach allows for rapid and specialized training aimed at graduates in engineering, IT, business, veterinary medicine, agronomy, and related fields to facilitate their entry into the agri-food sector.

Discussion:
The analysis reveals three critical gaps: technological adoption, academia-industry linkage, and talent attraction. Although Mexico graduates professionals in engineering and business, they do not see the agricultural sector as an attractive destination due to the lack of programs that connect their skills with real opportunities. The micro-credential model responds to the need for rapid and relevant specialization, fostering collaboration between universities, companies, and the government to ensure relevance and employability.

Conclusions:
The proposal represents a strategic investment in human capital, vital for reversing the aging trend, promoting digitalization, and creating high-value jobs in the Mexican countryside. Equipping a new generation of leaders with hybrid competencies will make it possible to transform agriculture into a hub of innovation and sustainable development.
