Abstract:
Feedback is a key feature, and maybe the main process in on-line education. The teacher/facilitator is responsible to give a constructive feedback to students. The feedback message to student must contain a minimum of features that allows them to achieve the learning objectives. However, in certain circumstances, feedback, evaluation and tracking teaching could be a subtle issue and even a devious process. In order to improve teaching/learning process quality, we have developed an approach consisting of a tracking tool. Our approach intends following facilitation tasks of every teacher/facilitator involved in the postgraduate MES (Master in Education of Sciences) program of the Polytechnic University of Aguascalientes (México). In this paper we will outline our investigation methodology, sources of information, tracking tools and data; as well as the entailment between the University learning philosophy: CBE (Competency-Based Education) and Information technologies (IT’s) – LMS (Learning Management System).
