Abstract:
The speed at which technological changes occur and their impact on society is high, which necessitates that teaching methods at all levels evolve to remain relevant. This requirement becomes even more demanding in universities, as they are the ideal environment for shaping true agents of change who contribute to social well-being.

Having academic programs accredited by national and international bodies is of utmost importance, given the status, presence, and benefits obtained for programs registered within these accreditations. Above all, it is crucial for the students who graduate from them.

Taking the above into consideration, the present work provides a general description of an integrated management system for all academic and administrative activities of the two graduate programs offered in the Graduate Studies Section (SEPI). This system aims to articulate all activities leading to the fulfillment of quality indicators for the Institute.

The objective of this research work is to analyze the context and specific needs in terms of educational quality, research, and regulatory compliance in the academic and administrative fields. A diagnosis of existing management systems is carried out, identifying academic and administrative activities as well as current indicators for management and their level of compliance. The research is conducted using a cross-sectional, mixed-methods, non-experimental, deductive approach, with a convenience sample due to cost considerations. Data collection instruments include questionnaires, interviews, observation guides, Likert scales, and frequency histograms. Data analysis is performed using Cronbach's alpha coefficient.

The research is divided into three phases corresponding to the specific objectives. After analyzing the results of the diagnosis of the SEPI (Graduate Studies and Research Section), it is concluded that there are deficiencies and a need to strengthen management in relation to the educational focus and regulatory compliance. Specific weaknesses are identified, allowing for the determination of common elements of the systems, which are then applied in the proposed model structure. Given that the structure of the systems is based on high-level ISO standards, they are successfully integrated compatibly.
