Abstract:
In the business world, there is a rapid evolution of the focus of utility towards sustainability, which implies, among other aspects, the adoption of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) actions. The CSR strategies that companies will incorporate will depend, to a large extent, on the commitment and decisions that future generations will make as they become future business leaders. University institutions, whose main mission is education and instruction, must foster skills that will influence the ethical behavior and decisions of their students so that they can respond to the new needs of business. In the business world, ethical commitment is articulated through CSR, and it is therefore of interest to know to what extent the university's ethical instruction received by students, and the factors that influence it, are associated with their orientation towards CSR.

The objective of this study is to analyze the impact of university instruction in business ethics on the economic and social vision of students, and the effect that it has on their orientation towards CSR.

Based on the answers to a questionnaire from a sample of 151 students, the relationship between ethical education and CSR orientation and the factors that reinforce this relationship are analyzed using structural equations. The results obtained show that the instruction given, the level of family education and the social vision are positively associated with the students' orientation towards CSR, while the economic vision, which has traditionally been transmitted through the subjects of the degree, is negatively associated with a proactive attitude towards the commitment to social responsibility.
