Abstract:
The Higher Technical School of Industrial Engineering of Ciudad Real (ETSII-UCLM) teaches a master's degree in Mechanical Technology, which is recognized as a qualification from the University of Castilla-La Mancha, for graduates in mechanical engineering, industrial engineering and, in general, professionals with university degrees in these fields. Promoted by the Metal Technological Center of Castilla - La Mancha (ITECAM), the program incorporates remunerated practices that the student will develop in the companies collaborating with the initiative. With this dual methodology it is intended to complete the training on mechanical technology and to facilitate the graduates their integration in the professional world.

The Dual Master in Mechanical Technology consists of 60 ECTS (European Credit Transfer System) in face-to-face mode, distributed in 40 theoretical ECTS credits, 14 ECTS credits of internships at engineering companies and 6 ECTS credits of final project. Thus, the innovative methodology of the master's degree involves an alternation of academic training and practises in companies, which forms highly qualified and trained professionals facilitating their integration into professional sector. So this master's degree helps to achieve the students work insertion, which during the period of 2015-2016 was 55% of the students. In addition, after a year of completion of its first edition, the level of contracted Master graduates has reached 92%.
