Abstract:
In the current knowledge society and with the phenomenon of globalization and the consequent need for a more attractive, efficient and creativity-enhancing education, learning educational technology along the lines of robotics has become essential for teachers. The resolutions that approved the BNCC (both in the elementary and high school stages) assign the CNE (National Education Council) the task of standardizing the teaching of Computing in Basic Education, a process that is currently underway. Among them we find autonomy, digital literacy and the construction of logical thinking. For this to be possible, attitudinal skills for problem solving and at the same time being creative and leader of groups are essential to a truly meaningful performance. This Course proposes to systematize and define the pedagogical guidelines for the respective Course within the scope of IFRO - Campus Ji-Paraná. It is embodied in a curricular proposal based on the philosophical foundations of progressive and transformative educational practice, on the legal bases of Brazilian professional and technological education, explained in LDB No. 9,394/96 and updated by Law No. ) and other resolutions that regulate teacher training. This project presents, therefore, the theoretical, methodological and didactic structuring pedagogical assumptions of the Course proposal in line with the Institutional Political-Pedagogical Project. The IFRO has a series of demands related to the National Curricular Common Base, the understanding of the world, which can only be fully developed by inserting fundamentals of Computing in Basic Education. Computing has not only changed the world, but also the way we solve problems. The term computational thinking encompasses neuroscience, one of the skills needed by the 21st century citizen. Robotics is a great way to teach computational thinking, since students can visualize, interact and connect different elements in a playful way, making it much easier to learn abstract constructions present in computational thinking. The proposal means restructuring didactic-pedagogical practices in order to provide teachers with the necessary skills to respond to the challenges and unpredictability resulting from the evolution of scientific and technological knowledge, and to promote growth, development and better conditions for advances and changes in this new technological scenario. The main purpose of this training is to assist elementary and high school teachers with interdisciplinary knowledge that includes the knowledge of Computing, Educational Robotics and Education. The use of pedagogical robotics will guide teachers in the application of the playful way of subjects linked to the STEAM approach. Technology is understood through science, and the science that explains the digital world is Computing. Therefore, the offer of an initial and continued training course in Educational Robotics - EAD aims to promote the qualification and professional development of teachers and undergraduate students and indigenous and riverside teachers. In this perspective, the offer of such a course has the motivating objective, to allow learning to become increasingly meaningful, to promote science and technology in a region with difficulties in accessing technology. Keywords:
