Abstract:
This article presents an educational application developed to facilitate the teaching and understanding of second-order dynamic systems through markerless spatial augmented reality. By superimposing dynamic models, in particular a drone, on the user's real environment, the application allows direct and contextual interaction with theoretical concepts, enabling real-time modification of transfer function parameters and observation of their impact on the system response. This methodology not only seeks to enrich students' theoretical knowledge in dynamic systems, but also improve knowledge retention through an immersive and contextualized educational experience, effectively integrating theory with practice in a meaningful and innovative way.
A distinctive feature of the application lies in its ability to go beyond simply displaying three-dimensional models. The application implements a unique strategy to make the trajectories of the dynamic system visible in the user's real space, intuitively connecting the movement of the drone with graphical representations of its behavior over time. This innovative representation of the time axis as a spatial dimension facilitates intuitive understanding of the behavioral graphs and temporal response of the system. By integrating spatial augmented reality into real, everyday environments, "Dynamic AR Systems" not only captures the interest of students through the exploration of an unmanned aerial vehicle, but also encourages active and exploratory learning, fostering a deep understanding of the principles that govern dynamic systems. Keywords:
