Abstract:
The pedagogical training of university teachers is one of the priority lines of work performed by the Institute of Education Sciences (ICE) of the Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV). In this context, one of the fields of work carried out with the teaching staff is focused on the development and application of technological resources that contribute to the improvement of the teaching-learning process.

From the Cabinet of Educational Resources and Multimedia (GREM) of ICE, the pedagogical tool "INTERPLAY" has been implemented, which encourages changes that force the reinvention of the pedagogical act, in which teachers assume an innovative role, creating conditions for and the students acquire new knowledge, experiences, and elements that generate analysis, reflection and appropriation processes.

Interplay is a didactic video that allows the teacher to integrate information (recordings, videos, questions, images, files, graphics, etc.) and structure it according to pedagogical criteria that help student learning and generate an interaction with the contents to work through the resource. There are guidelines with the aim to use adequately this didactic source in each subject. The didactic video must be relevant and realistic, with image and audio high quality. Both the design and production process, the foundation of the resource, and experimentation and evaluation are inserted creatively and dynamically in the teaching-learning process, serving as a tool for the development of skills and aptitudes in the student, who is worked by an active tool, making education more accessible and dynamic.

In this work, the characteristics of the practical training sessions are presented, in which through an experiential methodology, the teacher learns to design his own teaching resources using INTERPLAY. The participants are professors who teach in subjects of different engineering degrees and masters. On the other hand, an analysis of the evaluations obtained in a questionnaire by the participants of the last two editions held at the end of the training has been carried out. The evaluations regarding the didactic use of the tool are considered, making an analysis of the impact it has on learning, the degree of interest and the difficulties found in the different tool applications, both from the point of view of the teacher to develop it as, of the value it has for the student in his learning.
