Abstract:
In recent years university education experienced a deep transformation, which has resulted in a change in the role of teacher and therefore the methodologies used. These changes include (among others) the implementation of ICT in all fields of the teaching/learning process. So teachers should integrate into our practice creative and innovative strategies, including ICT.
Experimental learning becomes very important when teaching experimental sciences, because this methodology allows students to apply theoretical concepts and to see their practical application.
We have introduced virtual practices in the subject of biophysics on the first course of Physiotherapy degree and we have analyzed advantages disadvantages of this methodology as well as perception of students.
We asked students for which kind of practices (virtual or traditional) they found more stimulating and which have helped them to better understand the concepts studied in explanatory classes.
