Abstract:
The COVID-19 pandemic has significantly accelerated global digitalization of education in many countries. This is a necessary and preventive measure in education system of many countries. An approval of distance learning as the main form of knowledge and experience transfer during the COVID-19 pandemic motivated to refer to the subject of global digitalization of education factors research and their impact on value orientations formation among young people. We realize that it will be analysis data from the first results obtained.

The purpose is to identify factors of global digitalization of education and to analyze their influence on value orientations transformation among young people from the point of process approach and digital educational environment analysis.

Research methodology and methods. The research based on methodology of the process approach and distance learning analysis as an educational process in the digital educational environment. Method of comparative analysis of major factors of traditional and distance learning allowed to identify main factors of global digitalization of education. Method of pedagogical analysis of theoretical sources and pedagogical practices in Russia and abroad allowed to reveal negative and positive aspects of these factors effect on value orientations formation among young people. An axiological approach was applied in present research which allowed us to distinguish transformation of young people value orientations when learning in digital educational environment and using distance learning only.

Results: main factors of global digitalization of education are highlighted such as provision distance learning on digital media; a new virtual pedagogical practice without traditional emotional contact between educational process subjects; a new form of socialization of the individual in the digital educational environment; new design-thinking. Positive factors: enhanced network opportunities; virtual employment; open digital education platforms, academic and social freedom of the higher school student. Negative factors of global digitalization of education are mainly caused by the emotional and cognitive spheres of a person. These factors include: reduced communication experience and risk of speech degradation; loss of students' basic cognitive competencies and reduced emotional stability; sedentary lifestyle of students and educators which opens the way to new forms of didactogeny. Transformation of value orientations among young people, according to our observation during the COVID-19 pandemic and the complete transition to distance learning, affected terminal and instrumental values, mainly such as development and creativity, diligence and self-control.
