Abstract:
As the number of distance students keeps increasing, a proportional escalation of learning objects demand has been happening as well. The investments, the general availability, the wireless Internet webs, the cost reduction of data hosting and storage and the accessibility of a variety of low cost information applications have created an environment that provides access to courses contents from all over the world. The ubiquity of these m-learning components has been providing savings in a way that allows low costs of properties and growing levels of quality and fidelity. Several studies are trying to analyze better the interaction and learning forms of the student through m-learning, however, as this is a still recent theme, which has been going through significant changes, specially after the tablets creation and popularization, deeper studies are still considered necessary. This paper presents a few preliminary findings regarding an initial report with comments and heuristics recommendations, considering the Ipad tablet, taking into consideration the possibility of m-learning adoption in this device. It is also important to leave as a suggestion for future work in the area, the intersection among areas such as technologies, knowledge and interaction between the human beings and machines – studies that discuss respectfully the knowledge engineering, management and media.
