Abstract:
The teacher education vision in nowadays society of knowledge has gradually progressed. The society demands for its citizens to be well-oriented and to cope with changes during all their life, both individually and in cooperation with the others. The benefits of the working group skills, of new ideas creation and of the respective solutions are integral parts of the mission in education. The system of the educational pre-university reforms is linked to higher educational reform with the aim of insertion of the fundamental changes in the form and the content of the educative process. So, the children and the youth education should be compatible with the effective performance of an open society
In this study we try to point out the efforts done for up-dating the educational system of primary school teacher’s preparation in its components. At the same time, based on the contemporary literature study about this, based on the questionnaire, interviews with the heads of primary education departments, deans of the faculties of education, primary school teachers and students we analyze some actual problems this preparation faces. The paper provides some conclusions concerning the future of faculty of education.
