Abstract:
There are gaps in the needs of this study to enhance the use of Biodegradable Plastic for sustainable development. The use of plastic in the manufacture of products is very high and the level of public awareness of the use of plastic and the dangers of using plastic materials is very low, and the importance of using Biodegradable Plastic for education perspective is still lacking. An analysis of Asia's worst ocean polluters shows Malaysians are the biggest individual consumers of plastic packaging, and Thomas Schuldt, WWF's coordinator of work on a plastic circular economy, said Malaysians consumed the most plastic. Awareness campaigns to encourage peoples to get into the habit of using biodegradable plastics and separating their waste could improve recycling rates.

The objective of this paper is to develop the conceptions of education on awareness of Biodegradable Plastic for sustainable development. The methodology used in this project is a Systematic Review. Finally, public awareness can be harnessed through education particularly through Smart STEM education.
