Abstract:
The article studies the specifics of personal maturity and personal immaturity of graduate pupils, graduate students and retraining specialists associated by the common development social situation and specializing in different research areas. It is pointed out that personal maturity has complex multi-component structure based on interconnected personal features. Personal maturity is considered as a specific personal configuration which structure reflects an integrity of interconnected components including value-motivative, emotional-volitional, reflexive and self-regulation components. “Mature/immature” personality types and kinds of personal maturity and personal immaturity are represented. Kinds of personal maturity are developed from the contents of each component and studied in the continuum “personal maturity - personal immaturity”. Identified specific features of students` personal maturity and personal immaturity were analyzed depending on their social status and occupation.
