Abstract:
From an educational perspective, interdisciplinarity can be understood as a tactic that promotes effective interaction among various areas of knowledge, aiming to cooperate in generating new knowledge. Previous literature emphasizes the importance of interdisciplinarity, as it allows for the flexibility and expansion of our understanding of reality by integrating knowledge from different fields.

Given its significance in the academic realm, this work aims to propose to teaching staff the creation of interdisciplinary learning experiences through the guidance of final degree projects, thereby promoting a more holistic understanding of how different areas of knowledge interact in the real world.

When students choose to undertake such projects, although it may be perceived as challenging, the final outcome is rewarding, as it requires significant effort in terms of research, analysis, and interdisciplinary collaboration. The results obtained after implementing this experience are based on students feeling motivated by seeing the practical application and interrelationships among the studied concepts. Additionally, they have the opportunity to mature and consolidate their understanding, effectively preparing them to face real-world challenges in their future professional careers.
