Abstract:
This paper seeks to analyze the process of researching that the English Preservice students develop during their teaching practice in the University Distrital. During the career students receive the following three main components of formation: disciplinary, pedagogy and researching.

The pedagogy and researching components are connected during the practice that students have in some schools where they have the opportunity of being real teachers.

At the moment in which they have contact with the students in public schools they have the opportunity of detecting some real problems that they begin to treat and analyze during this teaching practice.

At the same time, they begin to become a researcher because they have the opportunity of reflecting, analyzing and taking note around the problems that they have determined.

The above mentioned process of research is done from the class situations that student teacher generates inside the school contexts in which they have their teaching practice. The presentation includes an analysis of a survey done in which it is investigated the process of research that is made by these students.
