Abstract:
Throughout 2021, the General Directorate of Computing and Information and Communication Technologies (DGTIC) of the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM) collaborated with the National Preparatory School (ENP), one of UNAM high school subsystems, to build virtual classrooms in the educational platform MOODLE. These classrooms were called "model classrooms" because they could be replicated for each ENP teacher who requested it to support their activity when teaching class; model classrooms present activities and base learning sequences with digital resources defined collegially by ENP teachers to address the contents of a subject in their syllabus, This action represented an example of good practices promoted by both the DGTIC and the ENP in the collaborative construction of learning by students.
The educational activities proposed in the model classrooms for various areas of knowledge include activities such as MOODLE assignments, discussion forums, exams, and digital resources such as books, videos, links to websites, among others. During the confinement derived from the health emergency, there was a need to know how many model classrooms were used by teachers and students and which their main uses were.
This paper presents the method used and the work done to identify the elements that the analytics team explored in the MOODLE platform to obtain answers to the questions asked. Keywords:
