Abstract:
University education must promote the development of professional competencies through the conjunction of abilities, skills, and knowledge. It must guarantee what has been learned through knowledge, know-how, and know-how to be, and encourage the future professional to adapt to the modern insights with flexibility in a society of rapid social and technological changes.
The paper goal is developing a management tool that allows a professor to manage continuous improvement in competencies assessment, as well as to generate a change in the methodological proposals, but also in the construction of means that allow facing situations of sudden changes as the COVID-19 pandemic to help to be more resilient when the practical information is available. The methodology was applied in an engineering career, the competencies assessment had been achieved, and results managed in a simple way, especially in a virtual environment due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
