Abstract:
"Job Satisfaction" is a broad term and there are numerous definitions and variables that are included in it. Hegney, Plank and Parker (2006), for example, refer to one of those many variables when they point out that job satisfaction in the work area is largely determined by the interaction between staff and environment characteristics.

In the case of academics satisfaction, there is an element that is part of the definition of quality of teaching. Although some people criticise the direct relationship on the quality of teaching to the student, no one disputes that the job satisfaction measure is checking the quality of the organization and its internal services.

The global analysis of the satisfaction is an indicator of little use for the implementation of corrective measures and monitoring measures. For this reason it’s necessary to include other specific and sensitive indicators to measure the changes in the organization of personnel by questionnaires to analyse the dimensions of job satisfaction.

In this way, we made a study of job satisfaction from the view expressed in 2013 among 170 teachers which teach subjects related to economics and business at the University of Extremadura, as part of a broader assessment of ethical competence in the company. We want to study, on the one hand, the degree of satisfaction with the type of work you do at university, in the relationship you have with the other teachers and other variables such as salary, the organization (classes, schedules, etc..) in particular and the satisfaction in general.

Along with the factors that may explain the commitment of teachers to adopt ethically responsible perspective on training in disciplines related to economic and business studies in university courses, we have noted, throughout this work, the age of the teachers, gender and years of teaching experience. Additionally we considered to include, as explanatory variables, the position of teachers in relation to job satisfaction. We explain with other authors like Perez Rubio (1997, p. 136), that satisfaction in the workplace is an important motivational factor, especially when it is involved in the development of generic skills related to the technical tools of professional practice (Morse 1953).
The data provided allows you to check that the indicators of job satisfaction of university teachers in the current situation, have two distinct realities. On the one hand, teachers are very satisfied with their work and with the performance of his profession and, on the other hand, little or not satisfied with the salary, with the organization faculty and with colleagues.

The study results show that satisfaction by type of work at the university has a positive relationship with the dimensions related to ethics education in college. As for the relationship satisfaction in return, there is a low satisfaction with the university organization caused by the last decisions made by the university as a strong reduction supplements available in most related research
