Abstract:
In the current digital era, programming has become a fundamental and highly demanded skill in the job market. However, teaching programming in traditional educational environments can be challenging due to the lack of qualified professionals in this field. In this project, we propose the development of digital competencies in programming through the implementation of project-based learning methodology, using the experience of Django Girls. The project encompasses two primary objectives: first, to assist teachers by providing them with tailored materials for teaching web development, and, second, to provide students with a constructive and relevant learning experience. Furthermore, this project aims to promote the inclusion of women in the technology field by involving expert women who give talks and organize workplace visits, thus fostering empowerment and challenging gender stereotypes. In conclusion, this proposal seeks to guide secondary school technology teachers to enhance students' programming skills while preparing them for the demands of the job market, and, simultaneously promoting gender equality in the technology field.
