Abstract:
The European Space of Higher Education constitutes a new model of raising the university education. In this new didactic-curricular field, the European credit establishes a measure of transfer and accumulation of knowledge and, in addition, a new way of understanding the pedagogy in the university.

We speak about a new conception of the education, in which not only the new standards, as the correspondence between credits and hours, the connection of the subjects inside a Degree, the diverse activities and procedures to obtain learning or the demonstration of the acquired learning are important.

If everything above mentioned acquires the condition of necessarily in any educational process, this is furthermore important in the area of the action, which is the way how this new way of learning has to be development, so that the students will be enabled to realize tasks or to consolidate higher processes. But to obtain all this, the student needs to get a progressive autonomy that must be obtained by means of to learn to learn. We are talking about to the generic competences, which we understand as the collection of attitudes, mental processes and methodological procedures that are common to different subjects and are acquired and applied in the process of production of different knowledge.

Among the transverse (generic) competences, we have selected one of instrumental character: “capacity of organization and planning”; One of personal character: “capacity of teamwork”. And other one of systemic character: “autonomous learning”. Thus, the problem of the present work is orientated to know "if the students of the Teacher's Degree have acquired the generic competences mentioned previously".

The aim of this work is to prepare a program of intervention based on the socio-constructivism model, with a previous study of descriptive character, which will allow us to determine the lacks that the students have in the above mentioned transverse competences.
