ChatGPT has caused a sensation and a stir in higher education didactics: the chatbot writes plagiarism-free papers on any topic, provides comprehensive answers to all knowledge questions in real time, and generates teaching materials and exam questions for any field of study.

But ChatGPT's capabilities don't stop there. The specialized language model, ChatGPT Codex, has been specifically trained to generate code. It can solve programming problems, making it an essential tool for novice programmers and also experienced developers. ChatGPT Codex has a deep understanding of the syntax, semantics, and conventions of all popular programming languages, allowing it to explain legacy code, debug broken code and even generate and test executable code from comments.
