Abstract:
In educational context, mentoring programs have been defined as a peer relationship between faculty and students, faculty and faculty or students and students. When we consider students as mentees, this relationship establishes different frameworks depending on the target students, which could be first-year or senior undergraduate students or graduate or PhD. Students. Depending on the target group, the approach is different.

In this paper, a case study of the mentoring program during the COVID-19 pandemic at the Universidad Francisco de Vitoria is presented. First-year students participated in this program that includes 6 one-hour personal sessions during the whole academic year. Moreover, several tasks such are watching videos, reading some news, discussing about different topics, etc. are some of the activities that are part of the assessment procedure.

Some results from Audiovisual Communication, International Relations and Nursing undergraduate Degrees will be presented in this research. Students actively participated in their mentoring program before and during the pandemic.

The 2019-2020 academic year was very different to previous years. Due to the pandemic, the last part of the studies was done by home. Neither students nor faculty were able to attend the university. Some courses were difficult to follow, but the case of mentoring activities was different as they were developed in personal online sessions with tutors.
