Abstract:
Based on the experience of one of the Japanese universities, namely, Sophia University, this presentation tries to highlight the challenges of creating a global campus. After a brief introduction of Sophia University, various aspects of how to build a university with a global outlook which would result in a global campus would be explained.

In this presentation, let us try to analyze student perspective of a global campus and their various interests regarding academic life and non curriculum activities.

In this presentation, let us try to continue with analyzing teacher perspectives of how they view a university global campus, with necessary inputs and examples.

In this presentation, let us try to look into the outbound as well as inbound student mobility aspects, that we experience in Sophia University.

We have many MOUs with various universities around the world; MOUs are defined as Memorandum of Understanding between two parties engaged in signing a contract and in this case MOUs are between universities. In this presentation, let us try to explain some of the challenges in this area.

After presenting the above aspects of challenges, we will analyze the various opportunities the globalized world bring to our campus by bringing more and more students as well as faculties to our campus. All other aspects of creating a vibrant global campus will be discussed in this presentation.
