Abstract:
The European project Erasmus + EUROBOTIQUE, which develops from 2016 to 2018, with the aim of fostering collaboration between students through a series of robotic competitions for students in secondary schools with a dual objective: to stimulate and develop collaborative learning based on projects and promote and bring engineering studies closer to the students. Three secondary education centers (IES Torrellano, Lycée Ozenne of Toulouse, France and IIS Caselli of Siena, Italy) collaborate with a group of researchers from the University of Alicante. During the month of February 2017, the first competition between students of the different centers participating in this project was held at the University of Alicante. This paper describes the bases, development and results of this first competition. Finally, a series of surveys carried out among the students of the mentioned educational centers are shown and analyzed.
Thus, it can be concluded that the students value very positively both the collaborative work and their satisfaction when working with robots in these competitions. Therefore, we consider that the partial objectives that we set ourselves at the beginning of the project have been fulfilled and we continue in this moment with the development of the tasks of the project and the achievement of the overall objectives of the project. Keywords:
