Abstract:
Study abroad has become a widely-used possibility for students getting to know different cultures, countries and styles of education. It is also a possibility for them to gain more experience and knowledge. Nowadays students have the possibility to study literally all over the world, using Erasmus Programme, bilateral agreements between universities or different foundations and funds.
However, what is the real motivation and how does the foreign study experience influence students’ future career? This poster focuses on motivating students to go on study abroad. Weather this experience presents a competitive advantage when finding a job after graduation. The results are based on research made by the author among the students of the University of Economics, Prague (UEP), who went for a semester abroad with students from partner universities of the UEP who made their semester abroad in Prague at UEP.
