Abstract:
The development of multimedia materials for learning aims to provide more effective learning of certain subjects.
Current technologies for e-learning in the Web 2.0 environment / Web 3.0, supports mutual communication between teachers and students, using tools such as e-mail, forums, chats, audio and video conference ...). In this environment have been developed and the generally accepted in the field of higher Education Learning Management Systems (LMS Learning Management Systems) that:
- Contains a database of teachers, students, resources, activities, multimedia content (formats: html, swf, pdf, jpg ...) and Web portals (menus, lists, themes ...);
- Introduce new roles for teachers (manager, designer, tutor ...) and for students - the role of a very active participant in the learning process;
- Provide preparation environments and scenarios for e-learning, and their steady development.
This paper describes e–learning in distance study programme at the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering of Applied Studies. Actual methods of e-learning are presented, as well as their development, organization and application. Accepting standars and recomandations and applaying up to date methods and technologies, it was also important to perform necessary adaptations that will provide compliance to the reqirments of educational system in Serbia.
For development of distance learning teaching materials in electronic form were engaged professional teams: beside teachers who are also the authors of the material, there are expert reviewers, developers, editors, graphic designers ...They were formed teams of teachers and staff, who are based their competencies, with the help of experts in the field pedagogy, programming and design, took over the role: author's e-Materials, designers of e-courses and e-tutors.
Most multimedia content is within the electronic lessons, interactive tasks and manuals for laboratory exercises. Multimedia content play an important role in practical training at a distance, or the realization of laboratory exercises.Keywords:
