Abstract:
Hypatiamat is a digital resource for the didactics of mathematics designed as an pedagogical and curricular intervention approach with the aim of promoting mathematical engagement in students and a better understanding of contents and logical-mathematical skills. The aim of this study was to analyse the relationship between pedagogical dynamics, through the frequent and intentional use of the digital platform Hypatiamat, and the improvement of the students' learning outcomes in Mathematics, in the 1st and 2nd grades.

This study was developed with a mixed methodology, supported by a mixed methods approach - quantitative and qualitative. In a first phase, we tried to detect and explore interactions between pedagogical dynamics supported by Hypatiamat digital application resources, the compositional characteristics of the classes and the performance in Mathematics in the group of "Hypatiamat" 2nd grade classes compared to "non-Hypatiamat" 2nd grade classes in the Ave intermunicipal community. In the exploratory tests of multivariate interactions, the statistical method of regression trees was used, using the CRT or CART (classification and regression trees) algorithm.

In a second phase, a qualitative methodology was used and data gathered by using semi-structured interviews (individual and focus group). Initially, were analysed the academic results of the 2nd grade mathematics assessment tests in the 2018/ 2019 school year within a sample composed of 217 school classes (unit of analysis) of the Ave intermunicipal community. Within this sample, 21 classes with the best results in the 2nd grade mathematics assessment tests in the 2018/ 2019 school year, in the curricular domain of "Geometry and Measurement", were selected for further study as well as 6 2nd grade school teachers, 10 school project mediators and the Hypatiamat project coordinator, with whom, through individual and collective interviews, the perceptions of the impact of the Hypatiamat digital resource were collected and analysed following an open model of thematic analysis.

The results indicate that the Hypatiamat platform emerges as an educational asset promoting technology-enriched environments and improving mathematical and digital skills in students and teachers, contributing decisively to the digital maturity of the schools.
