Terminology constitutes the greatest part of every language vocabulary. The terminology of a branch of science is not simply a sum total of its terms but a definite system reflecting the system of its notions.

Undergraduate and postgraduate students have difficulties when they study professional disciplines. Acquiring a terminological vocabulary requires different skills, which are involved in a process of network building, a complex web of words. Such approach is based on a specific way a word is represented. It should be flexible enough to adapt itself to changing circumstances.

Cognitive linguistics approach helps to enhance the forming of terminological and conceptual systems and become a specialist in a certain subject field. In other words, the approach coupled with pedagogical tasks is effective to teach such discipline as ‘Life Safety’, which is particular relevant in the 21st century.

Terminological system ‘Life Safety’ consists of specific terms which act as key components in formation of multicomponent items relating to the notion ‘security’.

In cognitive linguistics a frame is a complex multicomponent concept considered as knowledge about the situation. In complex frame modeling we take into account that terms are units which denote the most significant mental representations of professional activity.
The terminological system ‘Life Safety’ is characterized by the expressed hierarchy of the semantic structure, so the frame model can systematize it well.

The frame model as a way of representation of certain subject domain knowledge is a complex configuration which contains of basic concepts with base on extralinguistic information.

The frame model is connected with a certain concept object around a notion or a situation and contains of information concerned with a typical and potential situation including data about usual conditions of the process.

The benefits of the frame models include naturality, illustrative representation, modularity, and support in using default rules.
We cannot understand this organization by considering it only in relation to a group of terms. It is more important to consider frame semantics of this terminological system through the frame modeling.

The concept can be presented by graphical and verbal symbolization with help of an abstract symbol, definition or image.
In work on the terminology a specialist using such information can reconstruct the order of actions, understand what concepts a term is connected with, what subcategory it relates to.

This method of terminology representation indicates dynamism of the terminological system ‘Life Safety’. However it does not necessarily include a real movement, it can show the sequence of certain steps of the process.

Thus, the frame semantics and the frame modeling are the most effective mechanisms of representation of terminological system ‘Life Safety’. It is a promising perspective on a certain terminological vocabulary teaching. The represented tool of the cognitive linguistics approach helps to understand the use of specific terms, enlarge an extensive vocabulary quickly and effectively. This approach is the perfect way to any teacher who is interested in representing the subject field ‘Life Safety’ in both theory and practical implication in the foreign language. It represents communicative advantage in developing professional terminology and helps students in their future everyday professional communication.
