Abstract:
The Miguel Hernández University of Elche has been receiving feedback from master's degree students about the quality of the teaching provided and of the master's degree in general through the use of questionnaires, in accordance with quality plans that are reviewed and approved every four years. The UMH quality service is responsible of elaborating and sending these questionnaires. Two of them are given annually to students from Occupational Risk Prevention Master to evaluate the quality of teaching and the general quality of the degree, respectively. The first one asks about the satisfaction level with the quality of teaching, materials and resources used and the satisfaction level with each subject. The data collection is done through the virtual campus by means of personalized access of the students in two phases during the course: in the first phase, the first semester subjects are evaluated and then those of the second semester, through a questionnaire that includes 6 items. The second one evaluates the overall satisfaction with the master by means of a questionnaire that includes 13 items, 11 related to teaching and general aspects of the organization of the Master, 1 with the overall satisfaction and finally the students were asked if they would recommend this master to other classmates. In the 2018-2019 and 2029-2020 academic years this questionnaire additionally included 7 items related to the classrooms, library and outsourced services of the University. The questionnaire is carried out once a year during the month of May and is sent to all students enrolled in the Master's Final Project.

The aim of this study is to analyze how it has changed the quality perceived by students enrolled in the online Occupational Risk Prevention Master of Miguel Hernández University, through these surveys, from academic year 2018/2019 to 2021/2022, a period of time that includes the Covid 19 pandemic that emerged in early 2020.

The response scale for the items was composed of: Totally unsatisfactory (1); Unsatisfactory (2); Neither unsatisfactory nor satisfactory (3); Satisfactory (4) and Totally satisfactory (5). Both questionnaires were voluntarily conducted through the virtual campus, by personal access. The response rate (number of different students responding to the survey divided by the total number of students enrolled in the course) was taken into account. In 2020-2021 only a valid response rate was obtained in the survey on the general quality of the master degree and in 2021-2022 only in the quality of teaching questionnaire. In the academic year 2019-2020 no valid response rate was obtained for both questionnaires, this academic year coinciding with the declaration of the alarm status caused by the Covid 19 pandemic.

In all surveys with a valid response rate during this period, the scores for each of the items were always higher or around 4. Throughout the period analyzed, the percentage of students who would recommend studying the master's degree increased from 86.4% to 90.44% and the percentage of students satisfied with the teaching from 98.9% to 100%.
