Abstract:
Geometry in general, as one of the areas of mathematics, is still not a very favourite educational topic. We can find these opinions not only among pupils but they are often shared even by many educators. Use of technologies, modelling and simulations or utilization of dynamic elements is one of ways of breaking this barrier. How to make instruction more effective, engage pupils' interest in constructions and finding different solutions for the same problem. In this way interactive geometry introduces deeper and more complex study of terms in comparison to classic instruction with ruler and compasses. Use of interactive dynamic geometrical programs brings breakthrough in illustrative nature and in accessibility to broader group of pupils and opens a way to better comprehension and remembering of schoolwork. Although these programs will not solve pupils' exercises they bring new point of view at problems and immediate feedback. In the paper, we focus on designing and creation of dynamic elements in the suitably chosen environment for interactive dynamic geometry – GeoGebra and it's use in practical lessons. Created dynamic elements will be enriched with sound commentaries and modified to instructional videos to reflect the teaching needs in the most effective way. Experiment with an experimental and control group will verify the effectiveness of the created instructional videos.
