Abstract:
The general objective of the project is to achieve the optimization of academic performance in primary school students through teacher training in effective teaching / learning methodologies and Emotional Intelligence in educational contexts, thus achieving the reduction of the risk of social exclusion and attention to specific educational needs and inclusion in classrooms.
Therefore, we distinguish four specific objectives:
(1) Optimize the academic performance of primary school students;
(2) Achieve the social integration of primary school students;
(3) Optimize the Emotional Intelligence of teachers and students;
(4) Achieve positive satisfaction with the training program by teachers and
(5) Achieve the transfer of knowledge obtained by teachers in the training program towards pedagogical designs in educational contexts, especially directed towards the attention of specific educational needs.
The training program for teachers working in their classrooms with groups of primary students is carried out through an e-learning environment with the aim of inviting teachers from different countries (Romania, Moldova and Spain) to train in the two basic premises of the project: effective methodological strategies based on the specific educational needs of the students; as well as the training of Emotional Intelligence in the teacher and its transfer to the curricular design of the classroom, designed specifically for the integration of students. The practical implications to develop an active teaching training on active methodologies and Emotional Intelligence in educational contexts have been discussed.
