Abstract:
The increasing of ICT proficiency of especially seniors is one of key objectives of nowadays lifelong learning. As we proved previously the seniors are at very different level of ICT proficiency and we have distinguished four basic levels of ICT proficiency from very low level of ICT proficiency till the very high, almost professional, level. The courses developed for seniors to increase the ICT proficiency are usually designed as general and that’s why the efficiency of these courses decreases. In this paper we propose the simple instrument, based on that one which have been used in research mentioned above, and some instructions how to change the curricula of the courses concerned to the ICT in four areas: usage of smartphone with mobile data, usage of computer in common life situation (e. g. simple text preparation, internet searching, maps and geolocation usage), communication online and social networking. We are convinced these four areas are key for handling most of cases when the ICT is used in nowadays common life. For each of these areas and level of ICT proficiency are offered recommendations for curriculum adjustments and educational objectives. Keywords:
