Abstract:
Educational activities aimed at children this age are oriented toward understanding the context, looking for a living school, with meaning and sense that is still only a desire in many countries and sectors. Current soundtracks are the musical background to our memories, products, places, rituals and ceremonies as an important part of our daily life. The aim of the research is the study of the soundtrack of audio-visual by the teachers of the Schools of Music and Music conservatories and using the data obtained to debate the presence of music in the syllabus and study plans in their educational centres. To accomplish this aim, there was applied the 3.0 observation template to a selection of audio-visual in order to answer to the question What kind of music is included in the selected audio-visuals? Considering the results as a starting point three discussion groups analysed the contents and study programs of their educational centres by means of techniques of content analysis. The results show important differences in both contexts as well as highlight the continuity lines of the formative centres that use the feedback obtained from previous programs while show low levels of opening. With regard to media audio-visual spaces they show the use of advertising strategies, sound edition as well as electronic and digital use in the creation, production and diffusion of their works. This research can be a useful tool to guide academic actions toward the listening act related to the daily environment as the basis of identity as well as a key element for educational innovation and investigation.
The results obtained with SPSS and Atlas.ti show the significance and meaning of music in some Schools and Conservatories of Music. With this, we hope to prepare the bases for future educational interventions that may favor music education in its cultural, disciplinary and academic contexts, responding to the educational needs of an up-to-date education in music education. Keywords:
