Abstract:
We present an educational experience through flipped learning in two core subjects (compulsory) in the undergraduate and master studies related to building engineering and taught at the Escuela Técnica Superior de Edificación in the Universidad Politécnica of Madrid.

The flipped learning is a well-known system as an effective method to increase the learning culture and enable increased student commitment to it. However, we have found that less active students face difficulties and resist taking responsibility and carrying out their own activities autonomously.

The present paper describes in detail the experiences carried out, presents the evaluation results obtained, the feedback of the teachers and students involved, and they are compared with evaluation results prior to the implementation of the experience.

To end the paper, the new phase of the experience is presented. It is focused on increasing the transversality of knowledge and in which several professors of different faculties and very different subjects participate, so that students received inputs from differents points of view.
