Abstract:
The generation of Apha children, who are now enrolled in state kindergartens in Romania, respond with difficulty to the teaching methods and means used in the implementation of instructional-educational activities in kindergartens. Starting from this reality, this paper presents an analysis of the state preschool education system in Romania and several other countries, as well as alternative educational strategies that could be applied in preschool education in Romania.
The present research took place between June 2021 and June 2022 and involved parents from Romania whose children are enrolled in kindergartens with different forms of teaching, teachers who teach both in state kindergartens and in private kindergartens or with alternative learning systems, but also other factors involved in the educational process, which were constituted in a sample on which a questionnaire was applied. The research methods used were those that help to improve quality: tools for data collection and interpretation, the QFD (Quality function deployment) method, benchmarking, questionnaires, investigation, analysis and research. From the interpretation of the results, the need to adapt the educational offer of state kindergartens to the needs and expectations of contemporary society clearly emerged. The present study proposes the changes that should be made to the current school curriculum in state kindergartens in Romania.
