Abstract:

The increase usage of internet, online resources and software is enhancing the educational process within the university educational institutions.

The purpose of integrating specialized technology into training creates new methods and techniques of working, brings a modern view and allows learning through practice and visualization.

Thus, more and more software products have been gradually developed and introduced in order to improve the learning process and start new trends also in the higher education field.

Therefore, within the given context, the current paper aims to highlight the usefulness of software integration into the higher education environment, especially for those operating in the technology sector by establishing common indicators for the learning platforms. For accomplishing this desiderate, the authors performed a comparative analysis. Thus, the role of this study is to establish which may be the optimal software tool that can be integrated, in order to develop a proper e-commerce website with educational purpose.
