Abstract:
Education allows to open doors to a world where ideals can be achieved, one of the principal means available to foster a deeper and harmonious form of human development.

Education reform included, until now, elements of quality assurance in education the quality of Romanian education has until recently been defined as priority for schools. We cannot speak of quality assurance without mention of its continuous improvement process. Ensuring the education quality is achieved through a set of actions for the development of institutional capacity in order to plan and implement different study programs. The consequence of these programs develop the trust of beneficiaries in the organization which provide quality standards in education.

In the paper the authors aim to provide a way to use an adaptation of the DMAIC (an acronym for Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve and Control) methodology in a preschool institution in Sibiu, Romania, in order to optimize the process of continuous quality improvement in this institution. Process approach is one of the eight quality management principles and refers to the fact that the desired result is achieved more efficiently when activities and related resources are managed as a process.

Currently, the national and international law encourages the implementation of quality management systems because the futures mean quality, and the quality must lead to comfort and profit.
