Abstract:
The study tries to clear a multi-disciplinary approach involving not only the technology-oriented aspects but also the educational system, the economics, socio-organizational and legal issues. Using a combination of methods and software tools, it was build a comprehensive scenario, to find and clarify the strategic options and to indicate in terms of organizational development, in order to develop a model of centers for additive manufacturing in universities. Identification of key variables for the structural analysis was performed using Micmac method, whose results were combined with the results of analysis and strategy stakeholders involved in the process. The software used is named Mactor. The purpose for developing centers for additive manufacturing in universities are not only to develop new competences for students of Engineering Faculty, but also to develop an interdisciplinary creativity pole for the companies interested in innovative productsKeywords:
